What does Jesus do with weak and trembling faith? In Mark 5:21–34, we encounter two desperate people… a grieving father pleading for his dying daughter, and a suffering woman who had endured twelve years of misery and uncleanness. And right in the middle of urgency, fear, and desperation, we witness the compassion of Jesus Christ toward broken sinners. This passage reminds us that Christ is not repulsed by weak faith. He welcomes those who come to Him in true dependence… even trembling sinners who feel ashamed, unclean, and hopeless. In this sermon, we walk through:
* A desperate father
* A desperate woman
* A compassionate Savior
The same Christ who healed this woman and spoke peace over her life still welcomes sinners who come to Him by faith today.
