What happens when you hear the Word of God? In Mark 4:21–25, Jesus teaches that His Word never leaves a person unchanged. It reveals Christ, exposes the heart, and produces either growth or loss. You are not a neutral listener. Every time you sit under the preaching of Scripture, something is happening in you. You are either being softened or hardened… drawing nearer to Christ or drifting further away. In this sermon, we walk through three key truths:
