In Mark 3:20–35, we see both division and unity surrounding the ministry of Jesus. His own family misunderstands Him… the scribes accuse Him… and yet Christ clearly draws the line between truth and rejection. Jesus teaches that a divided kingdom cannot stand, exposes the danger of hardening your heart against the truth, and warns of the seriousness of blaspheming the Holy Spirit. At the same time, He gives a powerful and comforting truth—those who do the will of God are His true family.

This passage reminds us that:

• Following Christ may bring division, even within families

• Rejecting the truth has eternal consequences

• All sins can be forgiven through Christ… except the willful rejection of the Spirit’s testimony

• True unity is found in belonging to the family of God

The question is clear: Will you reject Christ… or will you be counted among His family?
