In this sermon from Mark 3:7–19, we see a powerful shift in the ministry of Jesus. As the crowds grow and press in, Christ begins building the structure of His kingdom by calling and appointing the twelve apostles. This passage shows us that Christ is not only gathering His people… He is creating and commissioning them for His purposes. Even in the midst of overwhelming demand, spiritual opposition, and growing pressure, Jesus sovereignly calls those whom He desires and sends them out with authority.
We are reminded that:
• Christ builds His Church intentionally
• True ministry flows from being with Him
• The battle we enter is both physical and spiritual
• Christ alone creates and appoints His servants If you are in Christ, you have been called… and you are being shaped for His purposes.
