In this final sermon from the book of Titus (Titus 3:8–15), we are called to live spiritually healthy lives by being devoted to good works. The Apostle Paul reminds the church that God’s Word is trustworthy, and that believers are to be eager for works that are excellent and profitable for others. This passage also warns Christians to avoid foolish controversies, divisive arguments, and unfruitful debates that distract from obedience to Christ. True Christian living is not found in endless arguments, but in humble service, love for one another, and faithfulness to the work God has given us to do. As Paul closes his letter, we see a picture of Christian fellowship, encouragement, and practical love within the church. This sermon challenges us to remain fruitful, to help those in need, and to love one another well—all in response to the good work our Savior has already done for us.
